Sam Shores serves as the Communications Manager for the Coastal Conservation League, bringing a deep appreciation for the coastal plain and a commitment to conserving it for future generations through impactful storytelling. With more than six years of experience in professional video production, he has partnered with environmental nonprofits and community organizations to create documentaries and advocacy campaigns. Sam leads the League’s multimedia communications across digital, fundraising, and outreach platforms. Sam holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he specialized in fisheries and community ecology and contributed to living shoreline restoration research.
