VANISHING LANDSCAPEs
Juried photography exhibition

The Coastal Conservation League presents the 2009 Vanishing Landscapes Juried Photography Exhibition in celebration of our 20th anniversary. The goal for the show is to increase awareness of changes in the communities in which we work, convey a sense of culture, and address the issues we face as citizens concerned about the state of our planet and its environment.

Landscapes vanish for many reasons.  Even landscapes that still remain may also vanish when we fail to grasp their importance and beauty.  Vanishing Landscapes intends to remind us of the threatened beauty of the coast, to awaken a sense of awe and wonder for the extraordinary places that remain, and to inspire understanding that they are worth protecting.

Celebrating 20 Years of CCL History
