Kate joined the Conservation League in June 2009 after graduating cum laude from Clemson University with a BS in Environmental and Natural Resources with a Concentration in Conservation Biology. The summer of 2008 peaked Kate’s interest in land use when she studied asa NOAA Ernest F Hollings Scholar with the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office in Maryland, focusing on land use and coastal development. A former part-time naturalist and local Sea Turtle Patrol volunteer, Kate enjoys kayaking, running and spending time outdoors.
