Emily is a North Carolina native whose interests lie at the intersection of environmental quality and public health. She obtained her Master of Environmental Management and certificate in Community-Based Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from University of North Carolina at Asheville. Emily has worked with Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, North Carolina Sierra Club and North Carolina Sea Grant. In her downtime, Emily enjoys being outside with her dog, Jack, traveling, and cooking.
