Do you know how your energy bill is calculated? Today, we want to share a tool with you that breaks down how your utility charges are designed and potential changes that may be coming soon to your bills.

Developed this spring by our intern Dylan McGuire, this interactive StoryMap walks you through recent rate structure changes at some of South Carolina’s electric cooperatives. Learn how the addition of residential demand charges could negatively impact working families and potentially disincentivize conservation.
