I-26ALT Project Public Meeting #1

Recognizing the need for transit alternatives along the I-26 Corridor between Summerville and Charleston, the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG) initiated the I-26 Regional Fixed Guideway Transit Alternatives Analysis study (I-26ALT). The purpose of I-26ALT is to enhance regional mobility with transit along the I-26 Corridor between Summerville and Charleston. Check out i26Alt.org for more information.

This is the first of three public meetings held at various locations to gather input on the most viable transit alternative for the I-26ALT study area. Please plan to attend to show support for transit and share your opinion about the alternatives! All three meeting dates are listed below, and each will cover the same material, so you only need to pick the one most convenience for you. To learn more about the alternatives proposed, click here.
