Tina joined the Coastal Conservation League in 2013 as Director of Finance. Tina is licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of Tennessee and has over fourteen years of experience in financial management of non-profit organizations. She has held various positions including director of finance, auditor, treasurer and interim executive director. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology, from the University of Georgia, and an MBA from Georgia State University with a concentration in Finance. Prior to relocating to South Carolina, she served as Director of Finance for the Safe Haven Sexual Assault Center in Knoxville, TN; where she managed all financial matters, and as well she redesigned the accounting system and implemented stronger internal controls.
Tina is family oriented and has a husband, who works in nuclear decommissioning, as well as a daughter who graduated from the University of Alabama medical school and a son who graduated with a degree in computer science engineering from the University of South Carolina. In her spare time she enjoys walking, swimming, golfing, and kayaking. She has always been attracted to the beauty of Charleston and is very excited to be a part of the League.
