Paddle the Little Pee Dee

RSVP
Paddle the Little Pee Dee River with a person kayaking on the Pee Dee River in the background.

Join Winyah Rivers Alliance and Coastal Conservation League on Wednesday, October 21, at 4:00 p.m. for a paddle through the Little Pee Dee Heritage Preserve! We’ll paddle from Red Bluff Landing to Church’s Landing, exploring the river and surrounding wetlands, and learning why it matters.

Bring your own kayak or reserve one of 12 loaner kayaks, available on a first-come, first-served basis through registration.

Your Options for Paddling the Little Pee Dee

  • Borrowing a kayak: Meet at Church’s Landing, 10650 Church Landing Rd, Nichols, SC 29581, by 4:00 p.m. You’ll be shuttled to Red Bluff Landing.
  • Bringing your own kayak: We recommend unloading your kayak and equipment at Red Bluff Landing, then driving to Church’s Landing before 4:00 p.m. to catch the shuttle back to the launch. Alternatively, meet at Red Bluff Landing by 4:15 p.m.; a return shuttle will be provided after the paddle.

Bring drinking water, weather-appropriate clothing, shoes that can get wet, and a dry bag for personal belongings. If bringing your own kayak, please bring your paddle and life jacket.

Advance registration is required for all participants.

Please contact peedeelynchesrk@winyahrivers.org with your questions.
