Torrey Sanders

Communities & Transportation Project Manager

Torrey brings grassroots experience, passion and a legal education to the Conservation League. She holds a bachelor’s degree in American Studies with a concentration in Critical Race Theory from the George Washington University and earned her JD from the Charleston School of Law. An Atlanta native, she spent nine years in DC, working in the music industry before following her extended family to Charleston.

As a member of the Communities & Transportation team, Torrey focuses on issues impacting our urban areas, especially working towards increasing alternative forms of transportation. When she is not at work, she loves biking around downtown with her family, including her older hound rescue, Libby.
