A bequest is when an individual or household includes the Coastal Conservation League in their Will or Living Trust. A bequest may be a specific piece of property, a sum of money, or a percentage of your estate. By including the Coastal Conservation League in your will, you can establish a lasting legacy.
A provision in your estate plans may be directed to support the organization’s greatest need or a specific program or project. Through a bequest you are able to make an impact on the organizations you care about while also providing for the people and places you love most.
Donors that have included the Coastal Conservation League in their estate plans are recognized as members of the Coastal Legacy Society.
If you have already included the Coastal Conservation League in your estate plans, please let us know. We would love to thank and recognize you for your commitment to the future of our coast. If you would like to learn more about becoming a Coastal Legacy Society member, please contact Amy Carter, Interim Director of Development, at (843) 972-3426 or amyc@scccl.org.
